• Tipping the scale at 230 (5'10) in May, 2007, at 30%+ body fat, I decided to do something about it. This blog, formerly a political blog, is about that continuing journey. Having now racked up nearly 60 pounds of fat loss and almost 20 pounds of muscle gain -- now weighing in at 190 and on the way to 10% BF -- I'm ready to reveal my "secrets." I'm enthusiastic about helping others achieve real results. The mainstream advice is mostly wrong.

One need only take a look around.

Euphemisms

Here's a 3-minute video of a bunch of people chortling. Now, I don't know how you use that word, but it somehow makes me think of the sort of laugh that predators do, when they reflect of having got something for nothing. Listen to the way someone laughs when they've come upon some new business opportunity to get rich quick. That's chortling.

Here's the video. (Good thing Google bought YouTube, 'cause it's way better.)

Anyway, notice the use of euphemisms throughout, assuming you're familiar with the subject matter.

Rich, watched that vid earlier via Billy. I think you're using the word "chortling" in exactly the correct context.

Sounds downright unconstitutional....
the video that eeeaaahhs....

When the "Honorable" (laugh) Mr. Byrd says he rolled up his sleeves to do the work in Congress, all I could help but think was "...more like pulled on the rubber gloves and commanded the people bend over again!".

Disgusts me to think I grew up in that shithole state... they idolize that former KKK grand wizard there.

He brings home the "goodies," which, of course, is just another euphemism.

Its baffeling and erie.
I almost can't believe it was video taped. The implications are dishartening to say the least.
